I now have the poncho and this jacket I like both but I do like having the option of being able to unzip the jacket instead of having to take the full thing off unlike the poncho. I also like that it’s light weight.

Finally persuaded my husband to get a change robe for all things van life. Purchased this one from Ryde and then England was hit by a heatwave. So the robe is untested in rain or for changing waterside but it looks great, means my husband doesn’t feel like one of the herd and it always feels good to support a growing independent business. Fab friendly customer service too.

I actually messaged Ryde on instagram prior to purchase because I was debating between the change robe and puffer. There customer service and engagement was the best experience I’ve had. Super personal and really fast response - they were really friendly and offered advice.

I got a large ( for reference I’m 6ft 1 and size 16) I most likely could of sizes down but prefer it oversized for any layering in winter and comfort.

The best coat I have ever purchased! Amazing in the wind and rain

Bought the change robe as a dog walking coat as it never seems to not be raining here. I bought the M but they are huge!!! Emailed to exchange and the customer service was brilliant. They sent a S out even before they received the other back. The robe/coat is amazing… I wear it with wellies in the rain and come home bone dry all over underneath. I’ve already had 2 other dog walkers ask me where I got it. It’s really roomy so you can layer up underneath but already cosy with the fleece lining. Big pockets to fit all your dog walking paraphernalia.

I have had my changing robe less than a week and have worn it everyday, because I love it so much! Being a dog walker/trainer I have struggled to find the perfect coat to tackle the cold/wet weather, this coat has ticked all the boxes for me, it's just perfect! Amazing customer service I can't fault anything! I am planning my next orders already(don't tell the my boyfriend though haha)

Before buying a coat I have several questions to ensure it was the right item for me. Customer service was spot on, friendly, and helped me make an educated decision. The Change Robe coat arrived swiftly and fitted perfectly! I chose a Medium and I'm 6ft2, the arms are perfect so they're not completely covering my hands but protect them enough from the elements or cover the cuffs of some gloves. I have to hunch my shoulders to make use of the fold over cuffs as my arms are too long but that probably wouldn't be the case if I got the size L but that really doesn't bother me personally. The two outside chest pockets don't fit my Google Pixel 6 Pro but it fits perfectly in the inside pocket so I can't complain. I'm so happy with the coat, it's really cosy, keeps me dry, and the length really helps with being protected from the wind. I mostly use it while helping my partner who owns a horse, so in the month I've had jacket I've been out in all weathers of the Midlands and it's been spot on. It's hard wearing too which is a bonus when helping around the yard so I'm not too worried about scuffs or scrapes. Whenever the weather takes a turn I go straight for the Change Robe because I know it'll keep me protected. I'm looking forward to buying more, I've got my eyes on a hoodie because I've only read great things 👀 Great customer service after purchasing to update me on delivery and to check I was getting on okay with the coat after I'd had it a few days. A great, friendly business that really cares for its customers 😊

As a dog walker of 8 yrs I’ve tried and tested a lot of coats.
We’ve had 3 days of torrential rain since I got my Ryde coat and been nice and snug and dry. Other local pro dogs walkers have asked where I got my coat when seen me nice and dry. I know at least 1 has bought one as she messaged to say she was excited.

Great jacket I bought for dog walking and general winter walks. Great front pockets big enough for leads and poop bags! Big enough to use as a changing robe, waterproof and cosy enough for Scottish winters!

It really glows in the dark!

I’ve been thinking for a while about replacing my dry robe changing poncho with something less voluminous that I could also use as a coat, was properly waterproof and didn’t have a huge logo on the back!
Eventually I spotted Ryde. The pockets and stud fasteners over the zip are an added bonus.
Tried it out at the beach yesterday in the rain and got the approval of my swimming buddies too.
