DOESN'T COST THE EARTH
Every now and again, we f*ck up. Misprints, snagging or marks on clothing. Sometimes we simply use new products to wear on photoshoots. As people who put quality at the forefront of everything, we would never sell these items at full price but apart from the smallest detail - they're still high quality, wearable and deserve a second chance.
LESS BUT BETTER
We genuinely believe in better quality products at lower quantities. The fast fashion smoke screen is clearing and in its a wake? People who don't want a new outfit every month. People who want great products they don't have to think about, whatever the weather and wherever life takes them.
Ryde products can take our supply chain up to 10 times long to craft than other brands. When an item is out of stock, it's gone for a while because we choose the high performance, top quality, slow fashion approach - every time.
Easy to wear, comfortable and performance styling which you can just throw on and go. We don't do trends, gimmicks or compromise.
Just sustainable outdoor clothing for outdoor living and a better.
GOOD THINGS DON'T COME TO THOSE WHO WASTE.
Our clothes are designed to last, but wear and tear can take its toll. It's a grim statistic but only 1-2% of clothing is recycled — the rest is tossed into landfill, downcycled, or burned. Our preference is always breathing life into old gear, cutting down on unnecessary waste and closing the loop.
This usually means offering customers the chance to trade in old outerwear for store credit for reuse, repurpose or recycling at one of our supporting partners. For example - cast off waterproof material is turned into zip lock scrunchies.
Whilst we are not perfect, we are constantly learning and trying our best to fully close the loop. We're starting slow so that we get this right.
