Made from lightweight, hypoallergenic polar fleece, Robe 2.0 comes with a soft finish and reflective details for visibility. Packed with practicality - utility zip pockets, side and front entry exterior pockets, dual zippers, high-quality press studs, taped seams, fold-over fleece cuffs, carabiner side clasp and a drawstring peaked hood. The relaxed shoulder design makes changing a breeze. We're not mind readers but we can guarantee this will be a lifesaver on cold morning, drizzly BBQs and chilly evenings.

In Robe 2.0, we've listened to your feedback and retained all the loved features of the original, with a ton of enhancements: a full-length two-way zipper for added versatility, a carabiner side clasp for hanging essentials, a peaked hood for superior wind and water protection, two interior double-entry pockets for versatile storage, fleece-lined and side entry exterior pockets, a drawstring hood for a customisable fit, a durable hanging loop for quick drying, and expanded sizing from XS to XXL!
How waterproof is the robe?
The durable outer shell is combined with waterproof finishing and sealed seams, creating a solid barrier against wind and water.
What makes Ryde Robes different to Dryrobe?
We get this question a lot. Originally, Dryrobes were designed to provide a solution for changing comfortably post-surf in cold conditions without compromising privacy. Ryde Robes offer a hybrid alternative.
While you can still use them as a change robe, they are more streamlined with subtle branding and are less bulky, making them easier to carry. They function both as a coat and a change robe. The design is straightforward, intended for seamless transitions from the beach to the bar. But sustainability means more than just the manufacturing process; it's also about versatility.

What can my Ryde Robe be used for?
It started with cold water swimming and quickly spread to all types of outdoor adventures. Whether it's watersports, sports events, camping, van life, or walking the dog—if you're spending time in nature, you'll find yourself reaching for your robe.
Ryde outwear is made of strong, durable materials. They are designed to handle every day wear and tear and the unpredictability of the outdoors, so they will last for many years with proper care and maintenance.
How can a Ryde coat be unisex? Surely it's hard to fit both?
We created an all-gender fit system that was made with a spectrum of sizes, genders and forms in mind.
The outdoors is for everyone and if you can share a coat with your partner, friend, whoever and save some money - that's sustainable in our eyes.
What do you mean by transparent supply chain?
A few things. Every manufacturer we work with, we personally visit them to ensure that the working conditions are ethical and that our values align.
Slow fashion - big fashion brands can add 100000s of new items a day. Fast fashion causes waste, clothing that is only designed to be worn a few times until it breaks and questionable ethics. We like it in the slow lane to counteract all of the reasons above and it gives us more time to focus on customer service and getting things right.
Why are you late picking me up?
A Spanish lady once left us a bad Trustpilot fuming that we hadn't picked her up on time. Turns out she'd rang a taxi and googled our number by mistake.

After starting professional dog walking I knew I needed something that was going to keep the elements at bay. After looking at similar products and recommendations, I decided on the Ryde Robe, partly as it was more cost effective then other products but I also liked the look of it more. When it arrived I was instantly impressed with its quality and fit, I ordered smaller then normal for a true to size fit. It fits perfectly, with space to layer up if needed, but it is very comfy and warm and layering up wouldn't be needed to be fair if you always on the move. But if your out in minus whatever you'd have space to layer up if really needed. It has plenty of pockets, inside and out for anything you need to carry, phone, keys, dog treats/bags etc, you name it, there is likely space for it. Windproof wise it is perfect, it keeps you very warm on the go or standing still. Waterproof wise it is perfect. No problems at all in ensuring it will keep you dry after being out in moderate and heavy rainfall for an hour plus per walk and more. The outer also dries pretty quick too after use in the rain. The hood is brilliant and sits well on your head but you can also tie it up for a really secure fit for windy conditions which is brilliant for me. I really like the fact you can tuck the cords away so they don't blow about in your face too, brilliant.
I am not usually a big fan of long coats/robes but it looks very smart, neutral and stylish to be honest. As much as my main use is for dog walking, I would and will feel perfectly comfy wearing it anywhere in any situation. Overall it meets its needs for me and all the functions about it work very very well indeed. The product is super and I would highly recommend it for any outdoor activities and use. 11 out of 10.
Just to finish and add on, the customer service with Ryde is absolutely the best I have ever received, hands down. From start to finish, these guys are extremely passionate and proud of their products, they definitely should be and it 110% shows on their part. Ryde not only have brilliant products and clothing but absolute first class customer service like no other.
Would I recommend this product, absolutely. You'll not be disappointed at all.

I’m so pleased with my new ryde robe. I’ll be using it mainly as a jacket for walks so sized down after advice from the lovely ryde store team. Super cosy but stylish. Bring on the rain!

Since I don’t buy many new clothes these days (for environmental reasons I prefer to reuse and mend), I was really excited to receive my Ryde Pro-Vis Change Robe 2.0! Two days later I was on the beach testing it out after a refreshing swim in the sea. The lining was just what I needed: soft, cosy, warm and comfortable. I bought a size XS and am a slim build about 5’4” tall. When zipped up, there was enough room to change from my swimwear into my clothes. Any bigger and it would feel too baggy for dog walks for me.
As yet, it is untested in the rain.
