Drowning in plastic 🥤👎
We were lucky enough to see Surfers Against Sewage 'Swimming in Plastic' community led event in person. Penzance’s Jubilee Pool was filled with plastic bottles to mark their 2023 'Dirty Dozen' Brand Audit and raise awareness of the UK's plastic pollution crisis.
After the event, we walked home along the coast. A seal popped it's head up and said hello. There was rubbish dumped in the water and a sewage alert 🚨
We need to do better.
